We are dedicated to telling the story of American Law Enforcement and making it safer for those who serve. The Memorial Fund built and maintains the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C. and is currently working to preserve our nation’s law enforcement history through the construction of the new National Law Enforcement Museum.
Together with supporters like you, the Memorial Fund is working toward our shared vision for inspiring in every citizen the value of law enforcement.
By partnering with supporters like you and prestigious law enforcement organizations, the Memorial Fund:
- Maintains the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial – the nation’s monument to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
- Commemorates active and retired officers, as well as those who’ve fallen in the line of duty, as a principal organizer of the National Police Week observance each year.
- Conducts research into officer fatality trends and issues to identify ways to make it safer for law enforcement to serve.
- Tells the story of American law enforcement through exhibits, collections, research and education.
